Common questions

How do I log a bowel movement?

On the Today screen, tap one of the seven shapes in Quick log. Long-press a shape, or tap +, to add details: time, amount, color, pain, photo and notes.

What is the Bristol scale?

A seven-type chart doctors use to describe stool form, from hard lumps (type 1) to watery (type 7). Types 3–5 are usually considered normal. Settings → Stool guide explains every type.

How do I make a report for my doctor?

Open the Report tab, pick a period (doctors usually ask for 2–4 weeks) and tap Share PDF, or show the summary right on your screen.

Where is my data? Can I move it to a new phone?

Sign in under Settings → Account & sync and the diary syncs to the new phone (see above). Without an account, use Settings → Back up, save the file (for example to Files), then Settings → Restore from backup on the new phone.

I forgot my PIN

For your privacy the PIN cannot be recovered. On the lock screen tap Forgot PIN? to erase the diary on this device and start over.

How do I back up the diary or use it on another phone?

Settings → Account & sync → sign in with Apple or Google. Flushly keeps an encrypted copy of your diary and syncs it between your phones: on a new phone just sign in with the same account. Photos stay on the phone where you took them.

Can I track water in ounces?

Yes. Settings → Volume units → US fluid ounces. With System, Flushly follows your phone's region.

Subscriptions

Manage or cancel Flushly Premium on iPhone in Settings → your name → Subscriptions, on Android in Google Play → profile icon → Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions. To restore a purchase on a new phone, open the paywall and tap Restore.

Delete your data

Without an account your diary — entries, check-ins, photos, profiles, medication and notes — is stored only on your phone. With the optional account, an encrypted copy is kept on our server.

Delete your account and cloud copy

  1. Open Flushly → Settings → Account & sync.
  2. Tap Delete account and confirm.

The account, its sign-in and the encrypted cloud copy are deleted from our server at once. The diary on your phone stays. You can also ask by email (see below).

Delete the diary on your phone

  1. Open Flushly → Settings.
  2. Tap Delete all data and confirm.

Everything is erased from the device at once and cannot be restored. Deleting the app does the same. Backup files you saved yourself (for example in Files or Google Drive) are not touched; delete them where you keep them.

Delete your purchase history

If you bought Flushly Premium, our subscription service RevenueCat keeps an anonymous app user ID and your purchase receipts so the subscription can be checked and restored. It contains no diary data, name or email.

  1. Write to support@dostich.com with the subject “Flushly data deletion”.
  2. Attach a screenshot of the receipt from Google Play or the App Store (or the order number), so we can find the purchase.

We delete the purchase record within 30 days and confirm by email. Payment records kept by Google or Apple are managed by them under their own policies. If the purchase history is deleted while a subscription is active, Premium is restored again the next time you tap Restore purchases.

Flushly is a diary, not a medical device. It does not diagnose or treat any condition. See a doctor about any health concerns.
