Plantara allows users to take or upload photos of plants for identification purposes. Images submitted by users may be temporarily uploaded to our server for processing. No account registration is required, and we do not collect personal identity information.
Uploaded images are used solely to identify plants and generate plant information inside the app. The images are processed automatically and are not used for advertising, profiling, or marketing purposes.
To provide plant identification results, submitted images may be securely sent to third-party plant recognition services through an external API. These services process images only for recognition purposes.
Images may be temporarily stored on our server during processing. We do not permanently store user photos unless technically required for short-term service operation, debugging, or abuse prevention.
Camera access is requested only when the user chooses to photograph a plant for identification. Camera usage is always initiated by the user.
We do not sell personal data. We do not share user data with advertisers or unrelated third parties.
The app is not intended for children under 13 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
You may stop using the app at any time. Any locally stored data can be removed by uninstalling the application.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be published on this page.
